My closet is full of dresses but I only own a couple of skirts, so I thought it was time for a new one. When I discovered the matching cute shortsleeved cardigan I got the perfect ensemble. The originally short length of the skirt made me hesitate for a second but then I immediately thought of my seamstress who did her magic and rearranged the thin layers in order to gain more length.

Tip:

Look for a good seamstress to have your clothes tailored

to your body and personal comfort!

Bright orange and silver accessories make this a nice summer outfit which is also appropriate for the office. Alternatively I'd combine it with black for a more formal, elegant look which I will show you soon.

Finally summer? No way... after our miserable spring weather Germany is suffering from terrible floods after constant rain. These photos were taken before the big rain started. Very slowly it seems getting better here in Bavaria and we certainly deserve a nice and hot summer!

Meine Leserinnen wissen, dass ich absoluter Kleiderfan bin, davon habe ich einen ganzen Schrank voll, aber Röcke nur einige wenige. Als ich diesen leichten Stufenrock mit passendem Jäckchen bei H&M sah, musste ich sofort zugreifen. Leider war er anfangs zu kurz, ich hätte mich damit nicht wohlgefühlt, aber ich dachte sofort an meine ausgezeichnete Schneiderin. Saum war keiner vorhanden, aber sie hat die Stufen versetzt und somit an Länge gewonnen.

Mein Tipp:

Gut sitzende Kleidung ist extrem wichtig und eine gute Schneiderin Gold wert!

Mit orangen und silbernen Accessoires entstand ein leichtes Sommerensemble, das auch sehr gut bürotauglich ist. Ich habe bereits eine andere, edlere Variante mit schwarz im Kopf, die ich Euch hier demnächst vorstellen werde.

Ob der Sommer nach dem ausgefallenen Frühling und dem Hochwasser endlich kommt? Diese Fotos haben wir vor dem großen Regen gemacht. Ganz langsam scheint es hier besser zu werden und wir müssten eigentlich mit einem Supersommer entschädigt werden, oder?

One of the benefits of working in an international environment are social events like the Italian National Day. We get to know the different traditions, typical specialities and drinks, culture and people.

Italy is certainly known for elegant fashion and style, therefore I wore my new silky Sfera shiftdress and a light blazer as the event took place both inside and in the garden. Paired with peep toes and silver jewellery I felt dressed appropriately for this invitation.

Lovely Italian antipasti, pasta, icecream and a selection of fabulous wine made it a wonderful evening - and for once the weather didn't let us down!

Eine Besonderheit meines internationalen Arbeitsumfeldes sind zahlreiche Veranstaltungen der einzelnen Nationen wie hier der Italienische Nationalfeiertag. So lernen wir alle Länder mit ihren Traditionen, Bräuchen und Spezialitäten von ihrer besten Seite kennen!

Italien ist ja bekannt für seinen eleganten Stil, daher habe ich für diesen Anlass mein neues seidenes Etuikleid von Sfera getragen. Dazu ein kurzer heller Blazer, da die Party zum Teil draußen stattfand. Peeptoes und dezenter Silberschmuck rundeten mein Outfit ab.

Leckere italienische Vorspeisen, Pasta und Eis, sowie toller Wein, dazu endlich schönes Wetter machten den Abend zum Genuss!

Going through my regular blogs, I stopped by at Veronica's Bittersweet Colours and immediately fell in love with her new burgundyPhillip Lim 31-hour bag. Isn't that an amazing bag and colour? Unfortunately it is a bit above my budget but if there is anyone out there thinking about a Birthday- oder Christmas gift... just kidding ;-)

My purple shift dress is only a bit lighter but my vintage bag which I bought in Italy many years ago is probably exactly the same hue as the designer bag. I love Ann Taylor, their dresses are just my style. My Italian baldinini pumps are certainly the most expensive shoes I own but I got them for incredible 12€ on ebay!

Auf der Liste der Blogs, die ich regelmäßig lese, steht auch Veronica's Bittersweet Colours und wie der Name schon sagt, zeichnen Farben ihren besonderen Stil aus. In ihre unglaublich schicke Phillip Lim 31-hour bag in Bordeaux habe ich mich sofort verliebt. Stil und Farbe (gibt es auch in tollen anderen Farben und schwarz-weiß) sind einzigartig - der Preis leider auch... nur falls das jetzt jemand liest und über ein Geburtstags- oder Weihnachtsgeschenk nachdenkt ;-)

Mein brombeerfarbenes Ann Taylor Etuikleid ist nur ein bisschen heller und meine Lacktasche, die ich vor vielen Jahren in einer Boutique in Italien gekauft habe, dürfte ziemlich genau der Ton der Designertasche sein. Diese Pumps von baldinini sind mit Sicherheit die teuersten Schuhe, die ich besitze, aber ich habe sie vor ein paar Monaten für ein Schnäppchen von 12€ bei ebay ersteigert :-)

In den letzten sechs Monaten habe ich von Euch ein derart unglaublich positives Feedback erhalten, dass ich denke, es ist an der Zeit, mich dafür zu bedanken.

What do you wear to an afternoon garden party? The dress code was "Hawaiian Casual".
On my plan I had a maxi dress, being casual, stylish and very appropriate for an outdoor event in summer - but unfortunately the ordered dress didn't fit at all... not even my fabulous seamstress was able to help out this time.

Glad I found this turquoise boho style tunic in the back of my closet! I added a whole lot of arm candy in various hues of blue. The more the better for such an occasion ;-)

My tips:
1: Don't wear stilettos to a garden party - you will ruin them walking on the lawn
2: Take a shoulder bag instead of a clutch - easier while standing and eating
3: Don't forget sun protection
... and don't forget to drink enough water!

Was würdet Ihr zu einer Gartenparty am Nachmittag tragen? Der Dresscode war "Hawaiian Casual" und ich hatte mir extra ein Maxikleid bestellt - lässig und gleichzeitig stylisch und damit genau das richtige für diesen Anlass. Dachte ich... aber leider passte es überhaupt nicht! Oben zu eng, um die Hüften zu ausladend und viel zu lang... nicht mal meine tolle Schneiderin hätte hier etwas ausrichten können.

Ich hatte in den Tiefen meines Kleiderschranks zum Glück noch diese Tunika, die ich höchstens einmal getragen hatte. Dazu Armbänder in verschiedenen Türkis- und Blautönen, für so einen Anlass kann man ruhig mal etwas dicker auftragen!

Meine Tips:
1: Keine Pfennigabsätze, da Gefahr im Rasen einzusinken und die Absätze zu ruinieren
2: Lieber eine Schultertasche als eine Clutch - einfacher beim Essen im Stehen
3: Sonnencreme nicht vergessen
... und genug Wasser zwischendurch trinken!

Glowing heat in Germany these days and I love it! Isn't this bright neon just the right colour? My daughter surprised me with this wrap dress which she got from & other Stories in London. Recently they opened their first store in Berlin and online shopping is available in various European countries. Belonging to H&M their concept is a minimalistic line which often reminds me of COS yet more colourful and fresh.

The colour speaks for itself and therefore I was very cautious in regard to accessories and love my new nude Ella Cruz studded sandals with it.

Endlich Sommerhitze in Deutschland, für mich könnte es gerne noch lange so weitergehen, ich bin ein 100% Sommertyp! Und was passt genau zu Hitze? Dieses neonfarbene, luftige Wickelkleid, das mir meine Tochter kürzlich von & other Stories aus London mitbegracht hat! Im April hat dieser neue H&M Ableger seinen ersten Store in Berlin eröffnet und dazu gibt es einen online shop. Die Linie erinnert mich ein bisschen an COS, ist aber frischer und nicht nur schwarz, grau und weiß!

Ich glaube, wir sind uns einig, dass diese Neonfarbe auffällig genug ist und daher habe ich weitgehend auf Accessoires verzichtet und meine neuen nudefarbenen Ella Cruz Sandalen dazu getragen.

Last week I attended another formal event - a British Cocktail Party on the occasion of the birthday of HM Queen Elizabeth II. We have even received an official Thank You letter from Buckingham Palace!

The dresscode for a cocktail party is fairly clear:

An elegant short dress
No evening gowns, no summer beach dresses

Length from just above to below the knee

Popular materials include silk, satin and chiffon
Any colour
A LBD is appropriate, however not desired for a Cocktail Party

Letzte Woche hatte ich eine weitere Einladung zu einem offiziellen Empfang - eine Britische Cocktail Party zu Ehren des Geburtstages von HM Queen Elizabeth II. Wir haben sogar ein offizielles Dankesschreiben aus dem Buckingham Palast erhalten!

Natürlich kann man ein Kleines Schwarzes tragen, aber so sehr ich den Stil liebe, so sollte man es zu einer Cocktailparty auch gerne mal im Schrank lassen, es gibt genügend andere Gelegenheiten, es auszuführen.

White & Neon Summer Look

Finally we had some sunshine - even though the temperatures weren't high up yet.

The right weather for light, white trousers (not see-through which is always an issue with white trousers) which I paired with a bright neon top from my daughter's closet. Those who follow my blog for a while, know that we share mostly accessories but also shirts, blouses and blazers. Neon and silver jewellery and flats complete a casual summer look.

Endlich Sonne, die Temperaturen dürfen allerdings schon noch deutlich steigen, wir hatten morgens Temperaturen im einstelligen Bereich...

Das richtige Wetter für eine weiße, leichte Hose (blickdicht, denn das ist ja bei weiß immer wichtig!) und ein ärmelloses Shirt. Ich habe dieses neonfarbene Top von meiner Tochter ausgeliehen, manche Leserinnen wissen ja schon, dass wir sehr viele Accessoires wie Schmuck und Taschen, aber auch Shirts oder Blazer austauschen. Dazu kamen Silber und noch mehr Neon für einen legeren, sommerlichen Look.

Wrap Dress And Polka Dots

As many of you know, dresses are my favourite piece of garment. They are so effortless chic and easy to wear. This dress combines my favourite wrap dress style with a silky stretch material and I just love its extra feminine touch.
For me shapewear is a must with this type of dresses and it makes me feel more comfortable.

In order to avoid a too ladylike appearance I've added a silver statement necklace and sandals for a more trendy look.

Wickelkleid und Polka Dots

Wie viele Leserinnen wissen, sind Kleider meine Lieblingskleidungsstücke - einfach reinschlüpfen und man ist perfekt gekleidet! Am liebsten mag ich Wickelkleider und bei diesem hier gibt das glänzende Stretchmaterial, das sich an Körper und Kurven anpasst, den extra Touch Weiblichkeit.
Ich trage unter solchen figurbetonten Kleidern immer Shapewear, damit fühle ich mich wohler.

Damit der Look nicht zu damenhaft, sondern frischer aussieht, habe ich das Kleid mit einer silbernen Statement Kette und Sandalen kombiniert.

White-on-White Summer Weekend Look

It is time for my "White on White" interpretation. We are lacking a real summer in Germany this year and whenever we have a bit of a sunny and warm day, I use the opportunity for light colours.

I recently ordered this embroidered cotton tunic in the only remaining size 8 (US) but it felt almost like a 12! With all the online shopping nowadays I get a bit frustrated about the nonconformity of sizes. Well, my seamstress did her magic again...

Today's jewellery is very special as it is designed and handmade in Germany. A family business run by the creative head Anika and her team. Legerer Sommerlook für's Wochenende in Weiß

Weiß - für mich bedeutet das Sommer und Hitze. Von beidem hatten wir bislang ja leider so gut wie nichts. Ich nutze aber jede Gelegenheit, mich sommerlich zu kleiden und dazu gehört auf jeden Fall "Weiß auf Weiß".

Diese leichte, bestickte Baumwolltunika hatte ich in der letzten verfügbaren Größe 36 bestellt und schon befürchtet, sie wäre zu eng. Weit gefehlt, sie fiel wie 40 aus und meine Schneiderin (die übrigens tatsächlich Frau Schneider heißt...) hatte wieder einen Auftrag mehr! Ich wäre echt froh, wenn es diese gravierenden Größenunterschiede nicht gäbe und man sich gerade beim Onlineshopping auf Größenangaben mehr verlassen könnte.

Heute trage ich Schmuck der Firma amika Schmuck - Steine für die Seele. Das besondere daran ist, dass die Teile hier in Deutschland designed und gefertigt wurden. Blue Maxi Skirt

Flowers and floral prints all over - it's summer!

I recently got this light blue printed maxi skirt on sale and immediately fell in love with it. The upper part is a stretch waist and it can also be worn as a strapless dress, which I would probably do when I am on vacation at the beach. Paired with a knotted blouse (love that style!), I felt ready for the weekend.

My daughter who usually takes my photos, graduated from highschool and spent a couple of days celebrating and relaxing at the Italian seaside with her friends. Therefore my father was kind enough to step in and took these photos in my parents' lovely garden.

P.S. I wore nail lacquer in golden beige and only the sunlight turned it into lime green ;-)

Maxi Rock in Blau

Blumen überall - auf meinem Maxirock und im Garten - endlich Sommer!

Ich habe mir diesen luftigen blau gemusterten Rock kürzlich im Sale gekauft und liebe ihn, da er sich herrlich trägt. Ein ganz leichtes Material, aber nicht durchsichtig. Oben ist er breit gesmoked und kann auch als schulterfreies Sommerkleid im Urlaub getragen werden. Dazu eine geknotete Bluse, fertig war mein Wochenendlook.

Normalerweise fotografiert mich meine Tochter, aber sie hat ihr erfolgreich bestandenes Abitur mit ihren Freundinnen und Freunden an der Adria gefeiert. Das hatte sie sich auch mehr als verdient! Mein Vater ist eingesprungen und hat diese Aufnahmen im herrlichen Garten meiner Eltern gemacht.

P.S. Mein Nagellack war ein gold schimmerndes beige, nur durch die Sonne sieht er so grün aus ;-)

SUMMER PARTY

Although the dresscode on the invitation of a big company for their annual summer party said "elegant - casual - sporty", I knew that the majority of guests would be dressed in an elegant party style. Why I knew that? Because I lived in Munich for a long time and that is the character and unspoken dresscode of the city!

I chose a long black stretch dress which is almost 20 years old and paired it with a very thin shrug and my new statement necklace in pastel colours. A very easy styling. I was really glad I wore my block heeled sandals as the party took place outside on cobblestone pavement which ruins all stiletto heels...

EINLADUNG ZUM SOMMERFEST

Auf der Einladung zum Sommerfest einer großen Firma stand zwar "elegant - leger - sportlich", also wäre mehr oder weniger alles erlaubt gewesen, aber mir war klar, dass man hier in einem eleganten Partylook erscheint, schließlich habe ich lang genug in München gelebt um den unausgesprochenen Dresscode dieser Stadt zu kennen ;-)

Ich habe ein langes, schmales, fließendes Kleid gewählt, das ich seit fast 20 Jahren habe, es ist in der Tat zeitlos. Dazu ein hauchdünnes Bolerojäckchen und meine neue Kette in Pastellfarben. Ich war froh, dass meine Sandalen einen Blockabsatz hatten, denn das Fest fand auf Kopfsteinpflaster statt - der Tod eines jeden Stilettoabsatzes, vor allem im Dunkeln!

Eisgekühlten "HUGO" gab es den ganzen Abend, ist er auch außerhalb Münchens so beliebt? Das Rezept und meine Variante findet Ihr weiter unten.

Summer White

Summer continues with fantastic temperatures and a lot of sunshine here in Germany.

Friends and I enjoyed one of these lovely evenings having dinner and a sundowner at a beach restaurant of a lake nearby.

My look for that evening was a white shift dress with a transparent cleavage and seam which I combined with mid heeled sandals, silver jewellery and a straw clutch.

I am enjoying leave this week and so much looking forward to trips to the lakes and surrounding beergardens!

Für mich könnten der Sommer und die traumhaften Temperaturen noch ewig so weitergehen!

Kürzlich war ich mit Freunden zum Abendessen und einem Drink auf der Terrasse eines nahegelegenen Seerestaurants verabredet.

Mein Look für diesen Sommerabend waren ein weißes Etuikleid mit transparenten Einsätzen am Ausschnitt und Saum, silberne Sandalen und Schmuck, sowie eine aus Stroh geflochtene Clutch.

Und nun genieße ich eine Woche Urlaub zuhause mit Ausflügen an die umliegenden Seen und Biergärten!

FLOWER POWER

Flowers and colours on my terrace, in my garden and on my dress.
I am spending a wonderful week of leave with Mr C - enjoying fantastic summer weather at home with late breakfasts on the terrace, BBQs with family and friends and trips to the local area, beergardens and lakes.

Easy dressing during my leave! You may have seen this paisley shift dress in blue already here during my last vacation to Portugal.

Es blüht überall in herrlichen Farben, auf meiner Terrasse, im Garten und auf meinem Kleid.

Ich verbringe eine wunderbare Urlaubswoche mit Mr C zuhause - da ich in einer Urlaubsregion lebe und das Wetter traumhaft ist, ist das wirklich herrlich. Wir genießen ein spätes Frühstück auf der Terrasse, Grillabende mir der Familie und Freunden und Ausflüge in die umliegenden Biergärten und an den See.

Das Paisley Kleid habt Ihr in blau vielleicht schon hier gesehen, als ich es während meines letzten Urlaubs in Portugal getragen habe.

BLACK RUFFLES

A lovely evening on one of the last days of my leave which I spent in the local area with Mr C. No fixed agenda, no packing, no deadlines - we just enjoyed the gorgeous weather with trips to the local area. Below you can find some impressions of a beautiful beergarden by the lake nearby.

We went to one of our favourite restaurants in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and sat outside all evening enjoying a very nice dinner including a stunning view on the surrounding mountains like the Zugspitze and the Alpspitze. For going out a dress is always my first choice. I didn't want to look too dressed up and therefore combined this light black ruffled dress with nude leather accessories and sandals.

Happy 21st birthday to my wonderful son Lucas today!

SCHWARZE VOLANTS

Langsam ging mein Urlaub leider zu Ende. Mr C und ich hatten jeden Tag Traumwetter und genossen Ausflüge in die umliegenden Biergärten und Seen. Ein paar Impressionen vom Staffelsee habe ich für Euch weiter unten eingefangen.

Am letzten Abend sind wir zum Essen in eines unserer Lieblingsrestaurants in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Ich habe mein luftiges, schwarzes Kleid mit Volants getragen und es mit Lederaccessoires und Sandalen kombiniert um nicht zu elegant auszusehen. Nicht mal mein Jäckchen habe ich gebraucht und wir konnten den ganzen Abend draußen sitzen, herrliches Essen und dabei den Blick auf die Zugspitze und die Alpspitze genießen!

ETHNIC PRINTS & AFRICAN MEMORIES

I called my post "African Memories" because I wore this ethnic print wrap skirt during my trip to Namibia in 1991, that's how old it is...! For a couple of years it was hiding in a cabinet in the basement before I rediscovered it. The soft fabric is perfect for the hot temperatures we currently have in Germany - I love this weather!

In order to maintain the African theme I paired it with a beige safari blouse and lots of golden jewellery.

ERINNERUNGEN AN AFRIKA

Diesen Wickelrock im Ethno-Stil habe ich im Urlaub 1991 in Namibia getragen - so alt ist er! Nach vielen Jahren im Schrank im Keller stieß ich kürzlich wieder auf ihn und er paßt perfekt. Die 22 Jahre sieht man ihm nicht an, oder? Das Material ist superangenehm bei den gegenwärtigen heißen Temperaturen - ich liebe dieses Wetter!

Den Afrika-Look habe ich mit meiner beigen Safaribluse weitergeführt und das Ganze mit viel goldenem Schmuck kombiniert.

The sun was in and out that afternoon, it was difficult to take photos and also the first time my dad used my new camera. After we finished he surprised me with his fabulous around fifty years old leather photobag for my new camera! I am so proud of it!

ALMOST LIKE A JUMPSUIT

One of the items on my wishlist is a black jumpsuit... This is certainly neither black nor a jumpsuit but I recently found the matching top to my printed trousers [last seen here]. It is a very light semi-transparent chiffon blouse and perfect for summer.

My daughter was kind enough to borrow me her new Furla bag which was the perfect add-on. She got it on her recent trip to Milan and it can be used both sides - in and out! Isn't that amazing? This is the more classy version, the other side is in a nude tone with an orange neon stripe.

My search for a classic black jumpsuit will go on...

FAST WIE EIN OVERALL

... aber eben doch keiner, sondern ein passendes Oberteil zu meiner Hose. Ich war sehr erstaunt, dass H&M nun plötzlich ein passendes Top im Sortiment hat, nachdem ich die Hose bereits im Frühjahr gekauft hatte [zuletzt hier gesehen]. Das ärmellose Top ist halbtransparent und wunderbar leicht, also ideal für den Sommer.

Meine Tochter kam kürzlich aus Mailand zurück, wo sie dieser fantastischen Furla Tasche nicht widerstehen konnte, die sie mir ausgeliehen hat. Das Tolle daran ist, sie ist beidseitig verwendbar und zwar innen und außen! Dies ist die klassischere Variante, die andere Seite ist hell mit einem feinen orangenen Streifen und richtig cool.

Nach einem klassischen, schwarzen Overall suche ich übrigens noch immer...

After a long period of very high temperatures it cooled down a bit. Almost every day I wore a light dress but this coral red one by MANGO had been too warm as it is fully lined. Finally I got it out of my closet for a birthday dinner.

I added my ZARA statement necklace, golden jewellery and my new gorgeous little clutch, a present Mr C recently brought me from New York.

Nach der langen Hitzeperiode hat es ein bisschen abgekühlt - wobei ich mich aber nie über das heiße Wetter beschweren würde, denn ich liebe Hochsommer! Ich hatte täglich Gelegenheit, meine Sommerkleider zu tragen, nur dieses nicht, denn es ist komplett gefüttert und wäre zu warm gewesen. Zu einer Geburtstagseinladung war es nun genau richtig.

Kombiniert habe ich es mit meiner Statement Kette von ZARA, viel Armschmuck und meiner schicken, neuen Clutch mit Schlangenprint, einem Geschenk, das mir Mr C kürzlich aus New York mitgebracht hat.

My styling suggestions "How to style a striped dress" have been very popular [part 1 / part 2 / part 3 ] and I received many emails and requests for another styling series.

Here you go - my new theme is "Transition into the next season".

I always want to make the most of my clothes and whenever possible I love to remix them for a different season. I admit, I am not ready for autumn yet - but being a 100% summer fan, I will never be ready! However, the temperatures eventually will drop, the days already get shorter and I have to face it...

Floral printed trousers you'd usually associate with spring and summer and back in April I first wore them here, styled with a light silky top and a white blazer.

Burgundy, plum and purple are trending in the next season. I added a t-shirt with matching cardigan - almost like a twinset - a shiny handbag [last seen here] and my new ZARA sling pumps which are an awesome gift by my darling daughter Alena and created a new look for autumn.

Meine Serie zum Thema "Wie style ich ein gestreiftes Kleid" [ Teil1 / Teil 2 / Teil 3 ] war so beliebt und ich bekam viele Zuschriften, dass ich Euch heute den ersten Teil meiner neuen Serie präsentieren möchte.

Natürlich möchte ich meine Kleidung möglichst vielfältig kombinieren und nach Möglichkeit über mehrere Saisons tragen, ohne dass der Look langweilig oder altmodisch aussieht.

Blumenmuster assoziiert man normalerweise mit Frühling oder Sommer und im April hatte ich diese bedruckte Hose zum ersten Mal zusammen mit einem hellen Seidentop und meinem weißen Blazer hier an.

Ich bin zwar noch absolut nicht soweit, mich vom Sommer zu verabschieden (als 100% Sommerfan werde ich das sowieso nie sein!), aber die Temperaturen morgens und abends und die kürzer werdenden Tage kann ich leider nicht ganz verleugnen...

Bordeaux, Pflaume und Fuchsiatöne finden sich im Muster meiner Hose und ich habe sie aufgegriffen und mit einem T-Shirt, Cardigan, einer leicht glänzenden Tasche [auch hier] und meinen neuen ZARA Slingpumps kombiniert, die mir meine Tochter Alena geschenkt hat! So entstand ein ganz neuer Look, passend für den kommenden Herbst.

Wearing white in the cooler season can be tricky as it sometimes just doesn't feel "right" as fabrics are often very light and it easily gets dirty in awkward weather conditions.

But during the transition period of late summer when you just don't want to store away your white summer clothes yet, there are several options of wearing them, think of white + navy/jeans or white + autumn colours such as olive or burgundy.

For part 2 of my styling series "Transition into autumn" [find part 1 "Florals" here] I have chosen my chocolate brown suede leather jacket, a colour I don't often wear but I like it a lot in combination with white. By adding brown and golden accessories I gave this dress a totally different look from how I wore it on a very warm summer evening here.

How do you feel about white in autumn?

Weiß im Herbst zu tragen kann sich etwas unpassend anfühlen, man assoziiert weiß mit Sommer und Hitze, die Materialien sind leicht und außerdem schmutzt es bei schlechtem Wetter einfach zu schnell.

Aber in der Übergangsphase, wenn ich meine weißen Sommersachen noch nicht wegräumen möchte, gibt es durchaus ein paar Möglichkeiten, weiß gut zu tragen. Ich denke dabei an Kombinationen mit dunkelblau und Jeans oder zusammen mit Herbstfarben wie olivgrün oder weinrot.

Für den 2. Teil meiner Styling Serie "Übergang" [Teil 1 "Blumenmuster" ist hier zu sehen] habe ich mein Sommerkleid mit meiner dunkelbraunen Wildlederjacke getragen. Schokobraun trage ich nicht oft, aber in dieser Kombi mag ich die Farbe ausgesprochen gerne. Dazu braune und goldene Accessoires und schon sieht das Kleid komplett anders aus als noch hier, als ich es an einem sehr warmen Sommerabend trug.
